Information about Rachael
Teacher of English in a mainstream secondary school and former Reading Lead, with a SEND / SEMH specialism, I am passionate about English and even more passionate about bringing that joy and understanding to everyone, no matter the level. A little bit quirky (can I say that about myself?), I enjoy teaching using real-life, current scenarios and examples with lots of discussion, bringing the subject of English Language and Literature to life. My pupils gain better understanding of the importance of English and better grades through my down-to-earth, friendly approach. I believe that there is no such thing as a silly question and if utilising the correct strategies, every pupil can be successful.
