I am patient, passionate and proud to be a teacher. With extensive academic qualifications, years of teaching experience, tutoring and being a mum, I am well equipped to teach children with all needs whilst making them feel safe, at ease and confident in their ability.
I aim to give your child the skills to transfer across all learning and give them the confidence they need to challenge themselves and set high expectations.
I teach all subjects and will tailor the activities to your childs needs. I can help with the loss of learning from Covid and arrange catch up tuition. I will give you a weekly update on the activities that your child has completed and what the next steps will be.
Contact me with any queries or if you need advice, I am happy to help with no obligation at all.
Bookings now open for September 2021 for general tutoring or practise for the eleven plus 2022.

Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught all primary year groups.
I have extensive experience with ks1 and ks2 SATs and am experienced in helping in teaching for 11+ selection tests which will prepare children who are sitting the kent selection tests for local grammar schools.
I am also very happy to teach to any extra support that is needed, including children with any additional needs as I have lots of experience.
I have a creative teaching style to engage pupils and will quickly understand any gaps in your childs learning and plan accordingly.
I aim to challenge higher achievers and have implemented maths mastery schemes within schools in South East London and therefore fully understand how to embed challenge in my planning and practice.
I am willing to help in all areas of your childs learning and am very passionate about my job. I currently tutor four children at my home in Westgate, three for the kent selection tests and one younger pupil for early maths and phonics.
Due to recently moving to Thanet I currently have some spaces for after school, weekends and the holidays.
I have a lovely home and am friendly and caring so will aim to make your child feel at ease quickly and you are welcome to come in (and see our two fluffy cats who are always a hit)
Please do contact me with any queries you have and I can explain how I might be able to help both you and your child, with no obligation to book or commit to weekly bookings.
