Information about Lucia
I am an experienced teacher who has worked in a range of schools in a variety of roles including Vice Principal.I am able to teach a wide range of subjects and I enjoy teaching students of all abilities. I am also experienced in working with young people with Autism and would be interested in working with young people who may be finding the school environment challenging offering social and emotional support as well as Maths and English tuition. I am familiar with examination syllabi which was consolidated throughout my role as an examiner.
I am willing to work with students of all ability and age ranges including adults.In addition, I would welcome working with adults who would like to learn a new language for personal or professional reasons.
Availability: I am currently available during the daytime, evenings and weekends.

Would thoroughly recommend Lucia. She has been helping our son Tom who is 9 with comprehension. Lucia has formed a really good bond with Tom and he looks forward to his weekly sessions with her. Very impressed how she took the time to really understand why we wanted additional tutoring and to get a sense of what level Tom was at with his reading, writing, spelling and comprehension skills.

Lucia has a lovely, nurturing way about her. She is very sensitive to the needs of our son and knows how to coax the best out of him. She is knowledgable about the standards required for GCSE and is helping to build our son’s confidence so that he can reach his potential.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her, and plan to use her for our daughter’s 11+ preparation.

A very multi talented person, reads children very well and personalises a methodical plan. We hope Lucia will help our kids grow on going with tutoring throughout their education. Our kids take to her well and have formed a positive relationship, results already are coming through.

It`s early stages but we can not fault Lucia. We are using her to help go back to basics with our 7 year old who is slipping behind expected levels of achievement at school.
Lucia`s experience and expertise has pinpointed areas that need development and concentration which makes it easier to know how we can potentially get back on track to an expected academic level.
Lucia is knowledgeable, experienced, likable, approachable and can vary her teaching methods and skills dependent on age, personality and learning ability.
Most importantly our little boy is enjoying working with her so we can`t ask for more than that!
