I am a friendly, outgoing maths teacher. I strongly believe that everyone is able to `do` maths when it is calmly and patiently explained to them. Maths is an important skill for life, and so I aim to boost pupil`s confidence as well as equipping them with new skills.

Having recent experience in mainstream schools, I have coached students to pass the 9-1 GCSE. As I still work day to day as a teacher, I understand the requirements of the GCSE. I also know the important areas for students to focus on in order to maximise their chances of achieving the grade they want to.

Availability: I am now offering face-to-face lessons again. I have good availability currently, particularly for any students in the Hastings and Rother area who would like tuition over the summer holidays. Please do send a message.

Experience: I have a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics, and have spent three years teaching maths in mainstream secondary schools, across the ability range.

I have also taught in a special school specialising in autism, speech, language and communication difficulties.

As my day job, I am currently teaching vulnerable children, often 1:1 or at home. Therefore I am used to tailoring my lessons to meet the individual needs of children. I am very familiar with the curriculum at both KS3 & GCSE.
