I am a professional Chemical Engineer, who graduated from Loughborough University with a First Class Honours degree in 2019. I was educated at a grammar school in Lincolnshire and have A-Levels in Chemistry, Physics and Maths as well as an AS-Level in German.

I have over five years experience as an academic tutor and have supported several students, ALL of whom have gone on to University or respected Degree Apprenticeships. I hope I`m able to help you reach your target too! I want to make the subjects we learn enjoyable and so will respect your individual learning styles and pace. Improving your confidence and exam technique are the two key focuses of my tutoring. My industrial background means I can help further by contextualising the subject and answering the common question: "When will I ever use this?"

Recommendations are available from my previous students on request (or see reviews). I am DBS (formerly CRB) certified, and can support all of my credentials with you during our first session. After this, all my time is £30 per hour for one or two hour sessions. Discounts are available for groups of two or three students.

Experience: In the academic year 2018/19 I worked with 3 students, all studying A Levels in Physics, Maths and Chemistry. These students all went on to study either university courses or advanced apprenticeships.

In the 2019/20 academic year I have tutored both A Level and GCSE students in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and have recently tutored a student in Year 6 preparing for his SATS in Maths.

In the 2021/22 academic year I have tutored 2 A Level students, one in Maths and one in Physics and both hoping to pursue STEM courses at top universities. I am also supporting a GCSE Maths student.
