I am a 29-year-old Teacher of Computer Science, Business Studies and IT, along with IT apprenticeships and Degree Level Computer Science assessing experience. I have vast experience in Industry and have graduated from Bath Spa University as a Computer Science Teacher. Prior to this, I completed a degree in Computer Science at Bristol, in which I received a 2:1.
In the tutoring scenario, I strive to create a positive and challenging learning environment using teaching styles such as discussion through debate, use of audio and visual aids, physical demonstrations and the use of interactive tools which I have structured based upon the best learning style of the student.
My teaching is flexible and is based upon the recognition of different student needs, ensuring that all students from the least to the most able realise their full potential, and to motivate students to extend their knowledge outside of school.
I have high expectations for every student and aim to create a safe and positive learning environment where the students are encouraged to express their opinions and offer their individual or collective experiences.
If you`d like me to travel to your home, there may be slight additional costs for my time and petrol, depending on your location (This will not be much). I can tell you more about this on contact.
Can also accommodate multiple students at once.

Tomas has been very easy to communicate with, responding promptly to any questions I had. My daughter has been struggling with computer science and had become a little disengaged with the subject. She has had a few lessons online with Tomas and when she said she was happy to continue I knew I had made the right decision. I am hoping my daughter will see improved GCSE results this summer.

Fabulous tutor! My son suffers from anxiety but you wouldn’t know it when listening to his lessons. Tom is great at teaching on his level of understanding but also pushing him to reach that little bit higher. My son is so happy and really feels excited about his lessons. As a parent, Tom really helps with the initial cost by offering a free first lesson as you have to pay the site for tutors details. He is also offering reduced prices because of it being online. Tutors like Tom are one in a million!

Thomas is a godsend. He is enthusiastic about his subject and his enthusiasm rubs off on you very quickly. He always goes the extra length for you and will not rest until you understand the topic. Excellent tutor! Surpassed all expectations and makes lessons informative as well as relaxed. Exploring various learning styles to suit learner and utilises a mixture of resources. Tom is excellent at articulating coding from either a low or high level depending on your skill set. He is well versed in Python and has an excellent hands on teaching method that even a complete beginner will understand and easily move through the modules.
Tom is very well mannered and always replies to your queries in a very fast time frame. He is also always on time for lessons at your home location.
I would not hesitate to recommend Tom as a Python tutor.

The tutoring offered by Tomas has been fantastic, my son needed the extra tuition in the run up to his A-level exams. Even though Tomas was extremely busy he still agreed to tutor my son as he knew how important it was. My son found it very easy to relate to Tomas and understand his teaching methods and if he didn’t understand Tomas just explained in a different way until my son was confident he knew what he was doing. Tomas has been flexible, accommodating a brilliant communicator and overall has enabled my son to undertake his exams with a lot more confidence and knowledge than he had previously, I would highly recommend Tomas.
