Information about Patricia
I am a qualified maths teacher and I have been teaching maths for 12 years. My experience includes Mathematics Leadership in several secondary schools.
I have been tutoring for many years and have a great and proven record of results at KS3, GCSE, A level Maths (all exam boards). I have a working knowledge of the national curriculum and have designed maths curricula at schools. I have experience in working with students with different abilities, learning needs, those who attend private, grammar schools, mainstream and alternative provisions.
I enjoy providing my clients with a strong platform to excel in any positive endeavour that they wish to take. Whether you are younger or older, with additional support you can reach your end goals and I`d be glad to provide you with that strong support during your journey! :)

Experience: I have been teaching maths for 12 years. I have taught a range of students from the students who needs of support because they may have a SEND need or is disengaged with school to student who are the most able. I really enjoy maths and love to share this passion for it with the students I work with. I am also aware that there are students that are looking to pass maths to gain entry to future courses; I have experience in this also. Problem solving is where students usually trip up on. Being able to identify topics in a multi-step question requires skills that the students must develop. I have experience in teaching with AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards.

Patricia is presently tutoring my daughter for A-level Maths (6 weeks and counting). My daughter`s feedback has been very positive; they are working through the curriculum, with Patricia explaining sections and working through examples in the sessions, and then setting homework to check understanding at the following session. My daughter`s confidence and understanding have clearly improved a great deal; she says she has a much better grasp of the subject areas, on which she can now build further as the year progresses. Exactly what we are looking for; we can thoroughly recommend Patricia.

My daughter is responding well to Patricia’s teaching. Patricia takes time to break down problems so they are not overwhelming and once this is mastered to build upon this. She is also a teacher who really cares that her pupils are learning effectively and will have the tools they need to achieve their potential.
