Graham

Hello, my name is Graham, aged 29. I currently live in Cannock and have 2 children, Josh and Ava (Who are 3 and 9 months). I am currently working full time in a Primary School in Wednesfield, teaching Year 6. My love and passion for teaching and helping children learn has developed in to now wanting to become a tutor, so that I can help children individually or in a small group achieve to their best of their ability!

I have been an OFSTED graded `GOOD` Teacher in a Primary school for 8 years, teaching in both Key Stages. I have experience with teaching Years 1,3,5 and 6 and have an excellent understanding of the SATS tests in both KS1 and KS2. I have also been the ICT co-ordinator in my school as well as the phonics co-ordinator and Literacy co-ordinator, so I have a very good understanding in how to help children read and write and strategies that can be used to improve these areas with children of all ages.

I am an outgoing, friendly individual who has always developed very good relationships with both children and parents. I love to see children develop and learn and being able to help them to do this by providing stimulating and fun activities gives me great pleasure. I am hard working, organised and fully committed to helping children achieve. I am a young, energetic teacher and I would be happy to provide 1:1 support or small group support.

Availability: weekends and after school from 4-5pm
