I am an approachable and experience teacher of Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) with a history of achieving the best results for my students. I have a thorough subject knowledge and experience of teaching to key stage 3 and 4 from both the AQA and EDEXCEL specifications. I am currently taking a year out to focus on family, renovating a new home and undertaking training in the financial services industry; I can therefore be flexible with tutoring times.

In my spare time I like to play football and tennis, I like to read and spend time with my wife and 11 month old baby.

Experience: I have 4 years experience teaching Biology, Physics and Chemistry in Manchester schools. I have taught a range of ability ranges within key stage 3 and 4 and have achieved excellent results for my students.

In addition to my teaching role I have also fulfilled the role of key stage 3 co-ordinator which involved me developing the curriculum for my department for children aged between 11 and 14.

I entered teaching through the TeachFirst programme and studied for my PGCE at the University of Manchester, therefore I have been exposed to some of the best pedagogical training available which feed in to the innovative and interesting approach I have to tutoring.
