Information about Helen
Hi, I`m Helen. I`ve been teaching in Cornwall for a few years now with classes in both KS1 and KS2. I also work doing supply teaching from EYFS to Y6. Before moving to Newquay I taught in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. There, I taught Year 3 equivalent age children, all of whom had English as a second language.
Previously to teaching abroad, I worked full time as a class teacher in a Primary school in Plymouth for 3 years. I taught Year 2 and successfully guided three classes through their Key Stage One SATS. I am also a trained Level 3 Forest School Leader and have a passion for outdoor learning.
I am available to tutor Key Stage One and Key Stage Two children either from my home or yours.
Availability: I am available evenings and some weekend days. I may be flexible.

Experience: I am a fully qualified teacher with 7+ years experience. I hold a PGCE with distinction from the University of St Mark and St John. I also have a 2:1 Geography degree from the University of Glasgow.
