I am a primary school teacher with ten years experience. During my time as a teacher, I have taught across KS2 and have worked as head of year for the past four years. I have been a tutor for nine years and have had extensive experience teaching children across the whole primary age range, specialising in KS2 and preparation for the 11+ examinations.

I am currently on maternity leave after having my son in January and am looking to open my books again to support local families.

Experience: I have worked as a primary school teacher in a large, diverse school in Hillingdon Borough for the past ten years. During this time, I have worked in years 3,4,5 and 6 and have been Head Of Year 3, 4 and 5. I started 1:1 tutoring a year into teaching and have worked with a multitude of children across KS1 and KS2, mainly in English and mathematics. After an initial discussion and assessment, I plan my sessions to target areas of weakness and differentiate my teaching styles to cater for the child`s needs.

My tutoring role changed in 2019 when I started working with a company to deliver 11+ preparation in the form of small group classes. This included teaching classes in not only maths and English but verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning too.
