I am a very experienced primary tutor - doing both face to face work for several years but now also online work for nearly 2 years. I have been class teaching for 22 years - 14 of which have been in Year 6 - getting ready for high school entry. During this time I have been a leading Maths teacher in Croydon supporting teachers in different schools with Maths teaching and learning and I have several years experience of getting children in my class to make very rapid progress.
I have always enjoyed working with children and seeing them learning and making good progress. I am Mum to a 4 year old boy who keeps me very busy. I have lots of friends, I enjoy meeting new people and I think that having a good sense of humour is absolutely essential! I am passionate about education and children fulfilling their dreams but I think this needs to be done in a very supportive and hopefully relaxed way.

Availability: Afternoons and weekends

Experience: I have extensive knowledge of SATs and eleven plus. I have also tutored Maths and English up to GCSE level. In both Maths and English have very recent first hand experience of getting children to make rapid progress but also to enjoy their learning and to learn to feel confident. I am now looking to do much more tutoring work as I am the parent of a 4 year old and class teaching doesn’t give me the time at home that I need.
