Information about Sanaa
I am a tutor specialising in English and Maths from 7+ to GCSE. I also teach A Level Psychology. I have a real passion for teaching and have been tutoring children throughout my secondary school to the completion of my degree. I am also TEFL qualified and have extensive experience in this field. I have a structured TEFL curriculum which I follow.
My aim is to ensure that each child is making progress and working and achieving to the best of their ability. I provide a nurturing and supportive environment that allows children to learn and grow intellectually. I graduated in Psychology and worked with SEN children for a number of years, I learnt that each childs mode of learning is unique, and I temper my approach accordingly.
I have worked with students that have come from a variety of backgrounds and different socio-economic levels. I know how cultural aspects demand a slightly different approach to teaching and engaging children and parents. I have had to manage difficult, open and honest conversations with students when they find their 11+ exams very difficult or get a low grade in their GCSE or A-Level mock exam and ensure they always feel supported throughout this process. I apply the same approach when providing feedback to parents each week. All my students make significant and noticeable progress within weeks, which creates a very positive cycle for the teacher and the students.
I get a lot of personal satisfaction when I see the outcomes my students achieve, and I endeavour to ensure that all children of all abilities are treated equally and equitably.
PS- I am also prepared to tutor SEN children but only working very closely with the parents to ensure together we can really make a difference to the childrens lives
