Upon request I can accommodate holiday sessions - times can be negotiated. This might be useful if your child is struggling with one concept and needs a short burst of help over long term help.

Relationships and building confidence is key to success when making progress with children. This can be fostered both in person or online.

As an experienced primary school teacher I really enjoy those `lightbulb` moments that children have when they get something that they have been struggling with. Working as a tutor allows these moments to happen on a regular basis.

All my lessons will be personalised for your child so that they get the best from each session.

I strongly believe in making strong relationships with children to enable them to make progress. Understanding what makes them `tick` allows me as the tutor to fill their gaps. Confidence in self is important and hiring me as a tutor will help develop this in your child.

Although SATs results are not everything - I will help your child work towards these tests, supporting them in both content and test technique.

I can also support your child working towards the 11+ tests.

Former Specialist Leader in Education (SLE) for English, including teacher training responsibility.
Significant experience of KS2 SATs.
Experienced tutor.

MA in Education (just completed).
