Information about Jess
I currently work as a full time Head of English having completed my PGCE in Secondary English at the University of Exeter and recently finished my MA in digital learning and creative thinking. Prior to that, I studied for my English degree where I also studied Education as a secondary subject.
I have found that education, in all walks of life, is the key to unlocking doors and widening ones horizons. I am passionate about learning and I wish to inspire the same love in all those I teach.
Availability: I generally offer face to face tutoring, but now with social distancing in place I have reverted to 100% online tuition via Zoom/Skype/FaceTime. I currently can tutor throughout the week and on Saturday mornings.

Experience: Currently, I am a full time Head of English at a local secondary school in Hillingdon having taught English for the last 6 years at GCSE, Alevel and also KS3. I am also a team leader examiner at GCSE for Edexcel and AQA and have marked previously across exam boards. I also mark at ALevel for English Language.
