I`m currently a student in Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in a class of prof. David Takeno.

I am a national and international prize winner. In 2015 I was awarded a scholarship from the Inesse Galante foundation and a 2nd prize in the young talents competition that is run by the foundation.
I was awarded 2nd prize in Saulius Sondeckis international competition.
I am a grand prix winner in the international talent center competiton “Rising stars in Kremlin”.
I have also performed with Latvian National Symphony orchestra and chamber orchestra “Sinfonietta Riga”.

I very much enjoy participating in masterclasses and I have been collaborating with musicians such as Philippe Graffin, Ilya Grubert, Mayu Kishima and Alexey Lundin.

I am also a member of the Accendo quartet. Recent performances include a concert in the Barbican hall as a part of the pre-LSO scheme, tour in Portugal as member of the Harmos festival and the 1st prize in the intercollegiate string quartet competition “Cavatina.”

Experience: I started working with young musicians about 4 years ago (assistants job back in Latvia.)
I work with musicians of all ages.
I really enjoy teaching because I discover something new every time and it brings me new ideas and helps me to better understand my playing as well. Every lesson is a new experience and I find that very exciting.
