Married with two grown up children and granddaughters. Restoring an old house and garden.
Retired from school.
Previous life: Led three International School Projects which gave me the opportunity to travel and teach in European schools. Have written and led Cultural Evenings to celebrate languages & cultures.
Have published Communication and its Languages - a celebration of language acquisition as part of the Projects and my Masters and written articles re the teaching of written English for primary.
Enjoy cooking, history, biographies, art (second subject) and am an animal lover. Used to breed and show gundogs. Three pet dogs (1 re-homed), chickens and 2 rabbits ( supposedly the grandchildren’s)
Chaired Fund Raising for Charity supporting local charities. Wide range of interests and friends. That about sums me up!

Currently my students/customers range from primary Polish speaker, adult Polish speakers; GCSE students; KS4 pre- GCSE students; 11+ and 13+ students; students in Norway (via internet);Egyptian surgeon English improvement; Brazilian accountant English improvement; Spanish Equivalency Test student ...so my approach has to be individual and flexible.
