Information about Jill
I am a very experienced, highly regarded Science teacher which includes 10 years experience of working with young people who have mental health difficulties. Pupils, parents and colleagues are highly complementary of my practice. (Of course evidence is available to prove this!)
I support each young person to recognise their strengths and achieve their potential in Science whether KS3 or GCSE. My style of teaching targets the learning style of the young person and I encourage them to be active in their learning. My job satisfaction comes from seeing young people gain confidence in their ability and feel positive increasing their self esteem and self confidence. This in turn has correlated to improvement in grades. I also use food therapy to support young people with mental health difficulties.
