I am an online tutor for maths and English; I am a qualified maths teacher and also have an undergraduate and masters degree in English. I am TEFL certified.

I have 6 years of experience teaching KS3 and GCSE maths in secondary schools. I have lead on developing curriculum so am knowledgeable about the KS2 curriculum as well. I pride myself in being able to break down mathematical concepts in numerous ways to make them accessible to my students. I am an English graduate and have been tutoring a variety of students, both children and adults. Since graduating, I have maintained a keen interest in Shakespeare. I am TEFL certified and experienced with working with students learning English at an intermediate or advanced level. Before teaching a pupil, I research their exam specification. Experience: I have worked as an online tutor via various websites for this academic year, tutoring English and Maths to students aged 8-16.
I spent 8 months working as a 1-1 numeracy tutor in a school before commencing teacher training.
I have then taught for 5 years in a secondary school, teaching a range of abilities from the weakest year 7s to the highest achieving year 11s. I have taught the Edexcel GCSE specification and the AQA Level 2 Further Maths specification. I have also lead on a transition project looking at the curriculum from Year 5-8, hence able to support Year 5 and 6 pupils.
