Information about Aisha
Because everyone, even the smartest and brightest, needs help sometimes, I want to offer my experiences and advice whenever possible. In high school, my successes in academics and extracurricular activities attracted motivated underclassmen and peers to ask "What did you do to perform well?" Truly, it is impossible to simply replicate someone else`s approach to studying or doing anything because each individual is unique. My strongest asset has always been my personalized advice and empathy towards others that allows me to find the best solution for them.
In my final year of A-Levels predicted to achieve 3 A`s in English, Sociology and Psychology, I was also predicted an A in maths when I did it for AS. I have been teaching children for 4 years now. I enjoy working with them and helping them grow. I hope to get them at least two grades above their target grade every year. I am positive and non-judgemental. I know the syllabus and how to teach it. You will find me easy to get along with and patient. I have now taught and tutored a multitude of students, and I have not found a single one that did not possess the potential to do well.
I`d help students improve by covering content that they find particularly difficult. I would do this using PowerPoint, notes that the student may have made, assessing knowledge using past paper questions. I believe that asking questions is invaluable and so I`d encourage students to do so. Making notes, summarizing them and past papers were effective revision techniques for me, but other people find different techniques more useful. Please note homework will be set every lesson.
Please note that group sessions will be offered at a discounted rate.
