Information about Mudassar
I believe in tailoring the teaching approach to each student’s needs and individual learning style. For school children and university students, I discuss their aims with them - and with their parents, if required - to determine what topics need additional tuition and then to work out the appropriate programme. I advocate continuous assessment to measure the student’s progress. Closer to exams, the pupils will work through old papers. At this stage, strategic choices may be made to focus on the pupil’s strengths.
For adults, I work with them to develop a personalised programme to enable them to achieve their goals. This may mean working towards a specific qualification.
I have great passion for and a deep knowledge of Mathematics. My aim is always to get my students to enjoy the subject. Most importantly, they are encouraged to gain confidence in their own abilities by building on what they feel comfortable with. I believe that the right teacher can undo wrong learning very quickly.
Lessons take place at my students’ homes, or online. Assignments and homework are an integral part of my teaching: there can be no improvement without practice.

I needed help for 11 plus! Tutor agreed every Monday. After 2 lessons I realised he has other commitments and was not able to come on fixed day.
He is a good tutor especially for Ks3 onwards.

Mr Mudassar is an extremely proficient and well informed tutor of maths who is currently helping both my son and my daughter in all the right ways by finding the gaps in their knowledge and subsequently guiding them towards the required course of action.
His maths resources are of a very high quality and are in sync with the topics and skills required for both levels. He also shows great professionalism in being punctual with his lessons and is easily approachable too.
