I am a 31 year old History/Modern Studies teacher. I currently live in the north of Glasgow. I own a car and hold a valid driving licence and would be willing to travel to tutor. I am available weeknights and Sunday nights to tutor. I have a BA (Honours) Degree in History as well as a PGDE in History Teaching. During my time at university I studied a variety of different historical periods.

As a tutor I always strive to get the best out of each of my tutees. I tutor in a structured manner using a variety of methods. I am always willing to adapt the way I tutor allowing me to get the most out of each child. I ensure that I keep a professional relationship at all times but all make certain that my tutees know that they can approach me with anyone queries they may have. I believe that I help to build a child`s confidence in the subject and assure them that there is no silly question that they can ask. As I am currently preparing my own pupils for their exams I am very up to date with what is expected within the exams. I am able to use this experience to help benefit anyone I tutor as I have a vast range of resources readily available all of which will be offered as aids to anyone I tutor. I always have a huge variety of past paper questions and sample answers to help prepare the tutee for their examinations.

Experience: I currently have five years teaching experience. I have taught both History and Modern Studies to a variety of different age groups. I have prepared many students for different level exams and have an excellent pass rate. I also have experience tutoring.
