An emphusistic and engaging tutor, with experience in bringing up the grades of student struggling with their GCSEs. Currently I work as a maths and science tutor for a local tutor centre. Developing young minds whose parents have opted to homeschool. Prior to this my experience included:

- volunteer science teach at a secondary academy
- maths intervention teacher in a secondary technical school

Along with my school experience, my career has been focused on engineering. Where I have worked for a number of technology companies, in roles from Applications Engineer through to Channel Manager. As an engineer, it is essential to have the ability to apply theoretical concepts to solve real world problems. This skill proves to be very useful in supporting students with tackling word based problems in their exams. There is an ever growing emphasis on this style of question and students need to develop proficiency with their approach prior to GCSEs.
