Information about Oana

Hi, I’m Oana, an enthusiastic lecturer and researcher with a PhD in Cultural Studies and an extensive experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
I am bilingual (Italian/English) as I’ve completed a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Media Studies in Italy, before my PhD in London.

My long teaching experience at university allows me to be the perfect guide for students seeking support with Academic Writing in English, alongside subjects (at A level and graduate level) like Media Studies, Italian, Philosophy, Politics, Philosophy, Sociology, History.

I can help you revise and understand your lecture and readings better, and support with assignments, coursework, homework, dissertation and essay writing.
My teaching style – focused on multimedia stimuli, visual thought-maps and debates – seeks to bring together the engagement with sophisticated abstract concepts while making them accessible and nurturing my students’ curiosity.

Availability: I am available on Skype days, evenings and weekends.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Capitalism and Cultural Studies (postgraduate level, Cultural Studies department)
