I am finishing my MPhilStud thesis in philosophy at King`s College London, where I also did my BA in philosophy. Thus, I have 5 years experience of studying philosophy and I now want to use my knowledge to help others. Combining education and philosophy is a long-standing passion of mind, and my BA dissertation topic was actually on pedagogy in Plato and Rousseau. My MPhilStud thesis explores Kant and civil disobedience. I am happy to support students taking their A levels, looking to improve in their university modules, or any interested learners.

Experience: I have taught a range of seminars for King`s College London in both Ethics and Greek Philosophy. This included marking and giving feedback on formative essays, marking exams, preparing seminars, explaining difficult content etc. I make an effort to tailor my approach to each student, and offering help not only in the topic but also on how to succeed doing philosophy more generally. All of my students that regularly attended my seminars submitted very good formative essays, and I gave extensive feedback on how to improve in general, in addition to what would be expected form an exam or a summative essay. My areas of expertise are ethics, political philosophy and continental philosophy (including Sartre, Schopenhauer, Heidegger, and Kant in particular), and my areas of competence are aesthetics, Greek philosophy, and philosophy of mind.
