Jack is a highly effective and inspiring Maths teacher that has built a large experience of developing confidence and achievement through understanding how pupils learn.
He has a vast experience in secondary education through over 13 years in Liverpool and London schools. He has decided to tutor only KS3 and GCSE Maths but has taught earlier and later key stages. His real driving within tutoring is to quickly and effectively help pupils understand what is needed to maximise marks within each question they answer. He achieves this through drawing on his 7 years experience of exam marking for the largest Maths exam board in the UK. Using personalised resources for each tutee means that no time is wasted during sessions and key topics are improved rapidly.
Jack has held leadership roles within Maths throughout his career as an Advanced Skills teacher, Director of Teaching & Learning, Head of Maths & Director of Maths at a school that was a beacon of Maths education through being a government funded Maths Hub.
He is currently a Director of Improvement for Maths in one of the largest Academy Trusts, in charge of improving Maths results and teaching across 25 schools.
Availability: Jack is available for lessons of one hour or more after 5pm on weekdays and on occasional weekends.
