I am a passionate educator, fascinated in the content and mode of delivery that can best serve young people in the important moments of their development.

Experience: I have dedicated my career thus far to education. Having gained a first in English at Bristol, I went on to train through Teach First to teach maths in a school in Hounslow, teaching up to GCSE. I taught for three years and was promoted to the role of Head of Statistics, leading on the Statistics GCSE and coursework. I then moved to CoSchool, a social enterprise that develops character skills with young people and teachers in Bogotá. Since returning to the UK, I have been working for nearly three years at Team Up, a small charity in London that recruits and trains volunteer tutors to provide English and maths tutoring to disadvantaged young people across the city. I was Programme Manager before being promoted to Head of Programmes there, overseeing tutor training and working closely with schools and young people to ensure programmes had the highest impact possible. Additionally, I often covered for missing volunteers, tutoring a range of English and maths across Key Stages 2, 3 and 4.
