I have taught and tutored many children preparing them for SATs, 11 plus tests and GCSE. I can help boost children by helping them work towards the next level and support them in securing a level by teaching the exam skills using practice tests and questions.

With my experience of GCSE tutoring, I feel that children struggling to keep up in class are those with gaps that are sometimes deeper rooted to primary level. Securing methods involving formal calculation and consolidating or even relearning knowledge of fractions, decimals and percentages can help students secure their desired grades, as it allows them to better access the concepts being covered in class.

My teaching style is fun, hands on and tailored to suit each child`s needs. I quickly establish a rapour with students and try to make lessons as fun and interactive as possible. With an Internet connection, I can bring an iPad and tailor lessons to meet the needs of those children who are more motivated by working with technology.

Experience: I have nearly years experience as a primary school teacher, working with children from Year 1-6. I have worked as a Year 1 & 2 teacher at a local private school, at an international school in Dubai working with children with 17 different languages and most recently a local village primary school in Year 5 & 6. I have a passion for teaching Maths, particularly those who have difficulty with the concept of number.
I have lots of experience in tuition, particularly GCSE where I have a high success rate.
