Hi, I`m Malaika and I tutor English and Science for KS3 and GCSE students. Currently I am a first year university student studying Psychology and Neuroscience. Having gone through GCSEs and A levels recently, I am familiar with the exam system, content specifications and the most effective study techniques which helped me achieve 7s, 8s and 9s. I can understand and relate to the academic pressures students face- I have been there. As a tutor my role is to support and help you become more confident and provide you with a safe space to make mistakes and learn from them. Whether you`re struggling with essay writing, exam technique, understanding difficult concepts or just general revision, I am confident that I will be able to help you overcome these challenges so that you can achieve the grades that you are capable and deserving of. My lessons are interactive, which means that you will be able to see everything I am doing on the whiteboard and will be able to engage too so that you are actively learning. Every lesson is tailored to your individual needs- You`re in charge. After every lesson, a report will be written up summarising what was taught in that lesson and areas of improvement so that you can always feel reassured that lessons are productive and worth your time.
