I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University and decided I was unsure of what I wanted to do with myself. I decided to book a flight to Thailand where I got a job teaching in an international school. This is where I realised teaching was my thing in life. I taught ages 3-11 and specialised in teaching Maths and English.

Since returning to the UK I qualified as a Primary teacher and I was graded as outstanding. I`ve since worked in Year 2, 4 and 6.

I have a 100% pass rate for the 11+ whilst also having experience of helping prepare children for SATS in both Year 2 and 6.

When I was at school I really struggled, and my main aim is for my pupils to be happy and feel confident in their knowledge. I know how hard it is and I know what it is like to struggle which I feel has really helped me with my teaching.

It is important that the child is happy and comfortable with their tutor for progress to be made. If you would like a meeting before agreeing to tutoring sessions then I would be more than happy to do that.

I don`t work in the school holidays, I feel that everyone needs a break and it is the perfect time for a child to rest and allow their minds to relax.

Availability: Evenings after 5.
