Alex understood my sons needs from the start and has been very patient and flexible with a teenage boy who would really rather be doing something else than maths tutoring! I chose Alex as his love pf sport was in common with my son so they had something to talk about other than maths. My son has been pleased with the lessons so far and feels that he has gained from these sessions

Alex has been providing lessons for my son primarily in English for his GCSE’s and he has really helped him develop in what was one of his weaker subjects. He is now much more confident for both language and literature which has been reflected in improved scores in his mock results and other tests. The additional bonus is that Alex is also a maths tutor and whilst this is one of my sons stronger subjects, it has provided the opportunity to strengthen, particularly by working on any topics he is less secure with. All of this has been done remotely and works really well. My son has really benefited from and enjoys his weekly sessions.

Very helpful and supportive, introduces me to new ideas and supports my own. I was very behind on both poetry and Macbeth and I didn’t feel judged in any way, whereas my teacher would’ve definitely made me feel worse about it. He also explains things clearly, is patient and is overall just a great tutor.

Alex has helped our son with English GCSE prep. We have found Alex to be extremely professional in all aspects of his work. He is always punctual, he replies to messages right away, he took on board our concerns and what we were trying to achieve and helped implement that, tailoring the tuition around our son. Our son has found Alex to be an excellent teacher, he is calm, patient, kind, straightforward and gets to the point without making a meal out of things. He clearly has a passion for his subject which is helpful for lending credibility with the student.

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful teacher for my child. I am thankful that I found an excellent teacher at the right time .He is very articulate, well-planned, punctual and friendly. My son is more confident after taking lessons from him. His grades has improved in his first assessment and I can’t praise him any more. Highly recommended !!!

Alex has worked hard to build up a great connection with my son which has been really positive to his learning experience. From the first session my son found Alex fun , very prepared , and for me excellent. I like thatchectrata my son like an adult asking him where he would like to focus the session . Howevrt Alex always has something prepared if my son doesn`t mind. He`s an all round great chap. Highly recommend .
