Hi! I`m Tommy, a third year undergraduate, studying Modern Languages (French and Italian) at the University of Cambridge. I am currently on my year abroad working in Paris. I tutor French from KS3 to degree level and whilst at school tutored KS3 and GCSE students. I understand the difficulties faced when learning a language but equally how rewarding making progress can be. I am happy to focus sessions on conversational French, exam preparation and anything in between. I make lessons fun and work to boost the student’s confidence through practice and encouragement. I also have experience coaching candidates for the Oxbridge admissions process. I am move than happy to share my coaching expertise and run mock interviews.

Experience: Having taken my A levels and GCSEs recently (3 A* at A Level and 10 A* at GCSE), I can discuss with you the methods I used to fulfil my potential and empathise with the difficulties in transferring language skills into grades. Being a current languages` student and having taken up Italian from scratch, I am exposed to different teaching methods on a daily basis and therefore have direct experience of what works best and what is less effective.
