Information about Ben
I have a BA in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford (2011) and an MA in Legal & Political Theory from UCL (2014). I have more recently completed an MSC in Psychology with Distinction.
I am a qualified lawyer, having worked and trained at Magic Circle law firm Clifford Chance. I now work in Clinical Psychology within the NHS, and am training to be a Clinical Psychologist.
Availability: Generally available
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have extensive experience of working with students and young people. In recent years, I have successfully helped a final year BSC Psychology student with their undergraduate thesis, as well as mentoring Year 13 students through their Oxbridge applications for Philosophy. I am also experienced in conducting mock interviews for university entrance.
During my time at UCL, I was a mentor to four Year 10 students at Pimlico Academy, a role that involved travelling to the students school to assist them with a project they were pursuing outside of their normal syllabus. As well as mentoring, whilst at UCL I also acted as a Student Ambassador on a Year 12 Human Rights Summer Challenge and as a Student Leader on the Year 11 UCL Summer School.
Whilst working at Clifford Chance, I continued to support young people by mentoring a Year 10 gifted-and-talented student from a nearby school and by conducting mock interviews with Year 11 students on the point of applying for work experience placements.

Ben literally saved my dissertation project. He was very supportive, provided constructive criticism and elaborate feedback. He was always available when I had any queries. I will definitely ask for help in the future if I have any troubles with my masters project.
