I have been a psychology teacher for 25 years. Previously, I was Head of Psychology at an outstanding school in the Midlands, teaching both AQA and OCR A level. Psychology was the 2nd most popular A level choice and students generally exceeded their target grades. Currently, I work as an independent educational consultant. I work for both AQA and OCR as an examiner and a CPD trainer. This gives me a unique insight into the examination system which I can pass on to my students. I have a proven track record of enabling students to exceed their potential in Psychology. I have a wealth of experience supporting students with autistic spectrum disorders, dyslexia and general anxiety disorders.

I’m also an author and write resources, articles and books for psychology students and teachers and am treasurer for the Association for the Teaching of Psychology.

On a personal level, I am married with two grown up daughters, three grandchildren and a cat called Nancy.
