Information about Maryam
I am a teacher of English with over a decade of experience in private tuition. I provide comprehensive one to one support with any area of the study of English, which a student may find challenging. My aim is to break down concepts,teach grammar and punctuation, make essay writing clear and structured, work on exam writing techniques in timed conditions and most importantly demonstrate to students` that they can enjoy the subject and not fear it!
I specialise from KS3 to KS5 (A-Level). With the current reforms to the way in which students` are assessed at GCSE, i have produced teaching packs to aid my own pedagogy and to ensure that students` are being taught in a manner which will compliment and enhance the teaching and learning they receive at school.

Maryam started at the start of the academic year tutoring a level English to my daughter when her previous Tutur could no longer continue. So glad Maryam came on board so knowledgable and professional really knows her subject . She has the added challenge with my daughter as she is blind but she has shown that she can think outside the box when tutoring her and is a great teacher .
