I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience tutoring both online and in-person. I currently work for King`s College London in the Widening Participation team. I work with secondary school students in developing understanding and knowledge about university. As such, I am also an expert in UCAS applications and am available for bespoke personal statement tutoring. My experience as a primary school teacher has made me confident in my ability to assist children`s learning in a variety of ways. I am very used to helping students make tangible progress in their learning and in building positive relationships with students. I have excellent subject knowledge, particularly in primary reading, writing and maths and I know how to design interventions to help children overcome barriers to learning. I have an excellent academic record and am currently studying for a Masters at King`s College London in Education, Policy and Society.

Availability: I am available weeknights after 6pm. I am based in Walthamstow but am willing to do home visit within a 10 mile radius.

Experience: I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in History and Sociolody. I am a qualified primary school teacher with a post graduate diploma in education. I gained my QTS in 2017, receiving an outstanding rating. I am able to tutor in reading, writing and maths and am fully aware of the curriculum requirements in KS1 and KS2. I currently work at King`s College London in widening participation to universities.
