I am the Deputy Head of my school’s English department and an highly experienced English teacher.

I hold QTS, a Masters with Distinction in Creative Writing and a First Class English with Creative Writing BA degree. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for the English language with others.

I have tutored students of all ages for 9 years, in schools, at their homes and at high performing tuition centres, and have experience in mentoring children and young people abroad.

I love teaching English. Whether it be Language or Literature, GCSE or 11+, as a writer I enjoy aiding my students in their own journey with words and supporting them in achieving academic success.

I am also a published writer of fiction and an experienced professional editor. I would be happy to proofread and edit both academic work and any creative writing projects you may have.

Experience: I have extensive experience teaching students ages 5 years to adults. I have taught 11+ English, Early years through to KS3, lower and higher secondary English, and have a thorough knowledge and experience teaching the various English exam boards at GCSE level, including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and CIE IGCSE.

I teach in secondary schools, Sixth Forms, and privately, and am highly experienced in teaching both group sessions and one-to-one.
