Information about Arriana

Arriana is a recent graduate at the University of Worcester in Creative and Professional Writing and Illustration. She has been studying Japanese language and culture for 8 years and has 2 years of teaching experience, and plans to move to Japan in around five years time.

Arriana is also an events coordinator and organiser and runs the Japanese language, culture and art business, himitsushi available at www.himitsushi including events such as the weekly Japanese Language Cafe at the University of Worcester and the annual Japanese Culture Festival which took off in 2016 and raised over a thousand pounds for charity.

Arriana combines her own creative approaches and tried and tested methods to teach Japanese in an immersive, hands-on way. Students really enjoy her enthusiastic approach and colorful, exciting lessons. To deliver the most effective and fun Japanese language lessons and classes, Arriana creates her own resources and combines these with highly credited text book and online materials, tailored individually to suit each class or student.

Arriana will work one-on-one with students in order to help them reach their goals: whether it be to pass an exam, travel to Japan, conduct better business with Japanese companies, make Japanese friends or understand anime without subtitles - all the way to helping those who would like to become fluent in Japanese or move to Japan.

Availability: Flexible but varies during the academic year. Please contact her for details.
