I offer all subjects at Primary level, 11+ preparation and English at Secondary and A level

l am happy to tailor my services around what you need - be that structuring your child`s weekly learning timetable, planning detailed daily lessons, or offering online sessions whenever you feel it`s necessary.

I conduct a detailed diagnostic of your child`s current skills and offer an initial "getting to know you" session free of charge - so you really can try before you buy!

My son (Y6) has additional needs, so I am very happy to discuss your child`s requirements and help in any way I can.

Experience: I have a first class degree in English, TEFL certificate, P.G.C.E. English and postgraduate qualification in Psychology.

My experience includes teaching in the following settings:

UK Primary as an intervention tutor, where I worked with Years 2-6 to maximise their progress and remove barriers to their learning. Alongside the academic teaching, I was involved with social and emotional aspects of learning and helped particularly with anxious children.

UK Secondary and College as an English teacher and Pastoral leader. I provided support for gifted and talented students as well as those who were experiencing difficulties with their learning due to additional needs or social, emotional, behavioural or mental health issues.

Overseas: Primary/Secondary/Tertiary teaching of English as a foreign language

I have more than 20 years` experience in Education and hold an enhanced DBS for your peace of mind.
