Information about Linda
I have been a primary teacher for 27 years and have a master’s degree in teaching and learning maths. I have lots of patience and believe that anyone can do maths once barriers to learning are removed. I have taught all primary year groups and am very experienced in preparing children for SATS and other exams.
Availability: Currently Wednesdays and Thursdays. However, I do have flexibility to change days and times.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: 27 years teaching experience for all primary year groups. Extremely competent to teach yr 6 pupils to be ready for SATS (English and maths). I have worked with children from all backgrounds and have also supported parents in how to help their children at home.

Linda demonstrates a genuine interest for her students to learn, making the most of tutoring time and focusing on what is most needed for the student. My son has enjoyed his lessons with her and felt very comfortable.

Linda is amazing and so patient and kind with our year 6 daughter. She has really helped her confidence and we have seen a marked improvement in her spelling and her general understanding of grammar.
