About Me

Hi, I’m a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in both Primary and Secondary education. I specialise in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with experience supporting pupils across all abilities—including those with Special Educational Needs. Currently, I work in a mainstream primary setting and also serve as a sports coach, bringing energy, structure, and a holistic approach to learning.

I’m also a qualified PE teacher at both Primary and Secondary levels and have previously taught English at KS3 and KS4, as well as Functional Skills in Maths and English.

My Philosophy

I believe the formative years of a child’s development are crucial, and I am committed to making a meaningful impact during this time. My goal is to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in every student. As a tutor, I aim to help children see beyond what they think they can achieve and guide them toward their personal and academic goals.

Experience: I’m a qualified and adaptable tutor with over 9 years of teaching experience across primary, secondary, SEN, and alternative education settings. I currently work as a primary school supply teacher, delivering a range of subjects including PE and English across KS1 and KS2.

I specialise in PE, Functional Skills, and English, and have a proven track record supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, and ASC needs. My tutoring style is calm, encouraging, and tailored to each learner’s individual goals – whether that’s boosting confidence, catching up academically, or preparing for exams.

Alongside my teaching work, I run a successful fitness training and education business, which gives me additional insight into motivation, focus and personal development – especially for learners who thrive with a more active or practical approach.

I`m QTLS qualified, DBS-checked, and confident working with learners from KS1 through to adult education.
