I am a Chemistry teacher in a 11-18 school where I teach AQA GCSE chemistry (both triple and double) as well as AQA level Chemistry. I can teach OCR A level Chemistry as I have taught thus specification as well. I have been teaching for over 10 years and enjoy all aspects of the job tremendously.

Availability: Evenings during the week. Can do face to face if local otherwise I can do online lessons.
I can also do lessons on Sundays.

Experience: I have over 10 years experience in teaching KS3 Science, GCSE chemistry (both double and triple), obtaining very good results whilst developing good relationships with my students. I also teach A level Chemistry.
I am an AQA examiner and have been so for over 10 years and have a vast experience in answering exam style questions and know exactly what exam boards are looking for in terms of structure and use of correct terminology. I am very passionate about science especially chemistry, and want to pass on my enthusiasm and knowledge of this subject. I have a friendly and supportive approach and seek to make lessons both informative and enjoyable.
My aim in tutoring is to be kind, patient and professional, building my student`s confidence and equip them with the skills to become an independent learner.
I can offer tuition leading up to the major exams in the summer or I can offer support to students who require additional support to enhance understanding of those particularly difficult topics. I will employ a variety of teaching styles according to the student`s preferred learning styles, and I have access to all the modern learning resources. I am also available in the summer holidays if you are wanting to get ahead before starting year 12 or refresh content studied already before starting year 13.
