As a recent graduate of the University of Bristol with a BSc Physics, I have joined the team of Numberprep tutors to offer one-to-one and group tuition in maths and science to students of all ability levels. Before university, I did my A levels in Maths, Physics and Further Maths.

Availability: Monday to Friday

Experience: Having worked for two years as a Volunteer Science Communicator for ‘We The Curious’ in Bristol, I have the ability to explain complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise way. I often used innovative teaching methods and interactive ideas to teach groups of students, and I use the same approach with my tuttees.

I have the skills needed to motivate children of all ages and ability levels (and with varying educational needs) to learn as much as possible in their lessons. I think creatively and adapt lesson plans to keep students focused and productive. With a wealth of resources at my fingertips, I am able to tailor lessons to suit the needs of each child.

I can help you prepare for upcoming exams or we can work on the basics – we will jointly determine what the best focus areas are. Homework will be set after each lesson to reinforce what has been covered and to ensure you are confident on the subject matter before we move on.

I am also able to work with a range of SEN students as we have the support of a Speech & Language Therapist, an Educational Psychologist and a Mental Health Nurse available when required.
