My particular subjects of focus are English, history and Politics, up to A level standard with my particular focus being history. My teaching method is very much based around the individual requirements of the student as confidence and passion provide the foundation for academic success and this can be achieved through personally tailored classes. Furthermore, although my subjects are essay heavy I believe discussion and debate are essential to sparking enthusiasm and encourage independent thinking. In addition, I spend a lot of time outside of lessons preparing a projected work plan to help maximise the success of the individual student.

Availability: Being a university student I have to tutor around my term dates, however fortunately they are very short terms and I am fully available to run sessions via video-chat at a time chosen by the student. Currently, I am in London until mid October and as during all my uni holidays am able to dedicate a lot of my time and focus on the individual needs of my students.

Experience: I am currently a history student at Oxford university with one on one tutoring experience with both GCSE and A level students from my time in sixth form. In addition I have experience as a mentor assisting with history personal statements and interview preparation. My particular strength is lifting students up to the necessary grade boundaries required for sixth form or university entrance; in this regard I have plenty of experience having assisted my cousins. In addition, I also have experience tutoring a variety of different A level boards including the Cambridge Pre- U for English and History.
