An experienced and highly qualified A level and GCSE Biology teacher with a passion for supporting students in gaining the confidence to achieve their full potential.

Four years experience teaching and tutoring the AQA specification, three of which in an OFSTED outstanding Grammar school. Experienced in supporting students struggling to meet their target and those wanting to unlock the A/A*. I have supported many students in achieving grade 9s (at GCSE), A*s (at A level) and improving their exam technique in order to gain confidence in their own ability.

I graduated in 2017 from the University of Leeds with a 2:1 Biology BSc with honours and from Edge Hill with a Secondary Science PGCE in 2018. Since then I have been a Biology/Science teacher but since Sept (2021) I have chosen to tutor fulltime.

Evidenced success in helping guide struggling students through complicated content by drawing it out and supporting them in providing the explanation themselves. Students I have tutored previously have gone from a grade 5 to an 8 at GCSE and from an E to a C at A level. All students I have tutored have attained at least their target grade. I have an `exam technique` focussed approach to ensure together we are improving the students ability to answer any question under pressure and making a positive impact long-term.
