Information about Tricia
I am a friendly, approachable Maths teacher with over 25 years teaching. I currently teach in an all-boys grammar school but can work with all ages and abilities, developing confidence and ability in maths. I have an extensive bank of resources, from which I can personalise and adapt according to best match the needs of whoever I am working with. I cover all aspects of maths from Y7-12. My exam results are excellent and I can support students in developing their independent revision skills.

Experience: I am a Maths teacher in a boy`s Grammar School, having taught Maths for for 24 years. Previous to this, I worked for 16 years in an excellent local high school. I have masses of experience, teaching all abilities at both KS3 and GCSE. I have been an examiner at both levels and have consistently excellent results. I currently teach A Level up to Y12.

Prompt replies to messages, organised, methodical, lots of supportive strategies, but also warm and supportive. My son has only had one session but he said that his tutor was really helpful and explained the topic so clearly. It has given him confidence already .

Tricia is punctual and very organised. She has plenty of resources to help with learning. My daughter`s weakest subject was Maths and Tricia`s tutoring helped her to achieve a grade 8 for GCSE. I will strongly recommend Tricia.

I would highly recommend Tricia for maths tuition. My daughter struggled with maths and had very little confidence in the subject. From the very first session with Tricia my daughter felt at ease, thanks to Tricia`s warm welcoming attitude. Tricia`s ability to help my daughters confidence grow within maths was fantastic, she would adjust her ways of teaching to help my daughter understand different topics. Before Tricia my daughter was targeted a grade 3 (equivalent to a fail) but has just achieved a grade 5 (C/B) in the recent maths GCSEs.

Tricia is fantastic. She is kind, pleasant and a highly-skilled tutor. She instantly recognised the pace at which our child is able to learn the subject and has already improved her confidence in maths after only four sessions. We highly recommend her.

My son, who is reluctant to do complete any work outside of school, is enjoying sessions with Tricia. He says that she is helping him to slow down, so that he understands the given task better. She explains things clearly to him and he seems fully engaged.
