I am a Piano and Singing teacher based in Stratford on Avon. I teach all ages from 7 years old upwards. My oldest Piano student was 80. Although I am happy to take on beginners and currently have some grade 1 students that started from scratch in September, I prefer to work with higher grades. During these difficult days I have been using the Zoom platform to deliver lessons and many students have taken exams via video. They have done well, with several Distinctions. I can help you to achieve your goals with Piano playing but my role is director,teacher,encourager, and supporter, rather than a magic wand operator. My qualifications are BA(Hons) GTCL.LTCL.MTC(LUIE)DipABRSM.ATCL

Availability: I am available from 9am to 9 pm Tuesday. I.am also available 6pm till 9pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

NOT available Monday and Thursday ( until 6pm) Saturday before 3.30 or Sundays anytime

Experience: I have taught at Trinity College of Music for a number of years and been their local exam representative for 25 years. I currently teach at Alcester Grammar School and until recently spent 18 years at King Edward VI Grammar School in Stratford on Avon. I have been a Director of Music at 4 schools in Warwickshire.I have performed in France Germany and Sicily as well as many places in the UK. Particularly memorable was a series of thirteen 2 hour concerts at Blenheim Palace, which I shared with many of my students.Every year I put many students in for Graded and Diploma exams, and put on at least three student concerts every year. I have been using the Zoom teaching platform since March 2020. I prefer face to face teaching but I do not travel to students houses.
