Welcome! I studied for my PhD in Criminology at the University of Cambridge and was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). I also studied for an MPhil in Criminological Research at the University of Cambridge where I was awarded the Manuel Lopez Rey prize for graduating top of my year. As an undergraduate, I studied Law at the University of Oxford. I am currently a Research Fellow in the Division of Psychology and Language Sciences at UCL.

Experience: I have extensive teaching experience spanning the last five years. I spent three years as an Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge where I delivered lectures on criminological theories and academic writing. I supervised undergraduate students on the Foundations in Crime and Criminal Justice Course and two-thirds obtained First class marks in their final exam. I also worked as a teaching assistant for an introductory quantitative analysis course and facilitated graduate seminars on criminological theories. Whilst studying for my doctorate, I was an admissions interviewer for Law at the University of Cambridge.

I have experience of mentoring students in preparation for University admission and I volunteered as a personal statement checker for the Social Mobility Foundation for four years. My research on adolescent mental health involves working with young people on a regular basis and promoting self-confidence is at the heart of my teaching philosophy.
