My passion for Geography began with the hidden stories of landscapes and people, from Iceland to central and Southern Africa. It’s a passion I strive to ignite in every student—transforming the syllabus from a challenge into a captivating story.

I specialise in making this subject accessible and successful for all. As a GCSE examiner, I teach the precise strategies that secure higher marks. With extensive SEN experience (including dyslexia, ADHD, and autism), I build confidence by adapting to each learner’s needs and the way their brain works. For fieldwork and coursework—a particular specialty—I provide the expert guidance that turns complex tasks into standout achievements.

I understand the student’s perspective deeply: I once disliked geography myself where a teacher sadly wiped the joy from the subject. I became disengaged, and began to underachieve. My final options for GCSE were between history and geography, and I disliked history more. As luck would have it, I had two brilliant (and bonkers!) geography teachers, who showed me how academically thrilling it could be! That transformative experience is exactly what I strive to create for every student I teach.
