Hi, I’m Georgie, a PhD researcher in Medieval and Renaissance Religious Drama with a background in English, History, Politics, and the Development of the English Language. I hold a postgraduate degree from UCL and specialise in making complex subjects engaging and relevant. As an online tutor, I focus on helping students see the bigger picture—why literature matters and how it connects to the world today. Whether it`s Shakespeare, An Inspector Calls, or other key texts, I show how they continue to shape culture, inspire new adaptations, and remain as relevant as ever. My goal is to make learning accessible, relatable, and, most importantly, effective. When I’m tutoring, I focus on making the content relatable. It can be hard to understand why we’re learning about Shakespeare, An Inspector Calls, or Religious Studies, but when we explore how these texts, themes, and ideas still influence modern culture, debates, and performances, their relevance becomes clear. Whether it’s understanding morality in Macbeth, social justice in An Inspector Calls, or the impact of religious beliefs on history and society, I help students connect their studies to the world around them.
